Dirac Research sponsors AES automotive audio conference, shows car, and presents technical paper

Dirac Research sponsors the Audio Engineering Society (AES) 36th International Conference, Automotive Audio – Sound in Motion, in Dearborn, Mi, USA, June 2-4, 2009. The conference focuses on the technical and creative aspects of in-car audio systems. As one of the leading innovators in automotive sound technology, Dirac Research is a natural partner for this event which brings together professionals from both industry and academia.
In addition to sponsoring the event, Dirac also presents a technical paper, “Sound Field Control Using a Limited Number of Loudspeakers”, co-authored by Mathias Johansson, Lars-Johan Brännmark, Adrian Bahne and Mikael Sternad, all from Dirac. The paper describes some of the technology behind Dirac Dimensions.
